Salted Caramel Cheesecake Dessert Cups

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups graham cracker or digestive biscuit crumbs
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce
  • ¼ cup toffee or caramel bits
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Chopped nuts or toffee pieces for topping

Instructions

  1. Make the crust: Mix the cookie crumbs with melted butter until evenly combined. Spoon a layer into the bottom of small jars or dessert cups and gently press down.
  2. Prepare the cheesecake filling: Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the cream: Whip the heavy cream until fluffy, then gently fold it into the cream-cheese mixture until light and smooth.
  4. Add the caramel: Fold in a few tablespoons of salted caramel sauce. Add a small pinch of sea salt for a stronger salted-caramel flavor.
  5. Layer the desserts: Add cheesecake filling over the crumb base. Drizzle with salted caramel sauce, then add another layer of cheesecake filling.
  6. Finish: Top each cup with extra caramel, crushed toffee pieces, and chopped nuts.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours before serving.

Tip: Keep the jars refrigerated and serve cold. These make a great make-ahead dessert for parties or family gatherings. 🍮✨
