Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets

Crispy, gooey, and packed with pizza flavor – perfect for snacks or lunches!

Ingredients (Makes 8 pockets):

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • ¼ cup pepperoni slices, chopped
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Optional Fillings:

  • Cooked sausage crumbles
  • Diced bell peppers
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Ricotta cheese

Instructions:

1. Prep Dough & Fillings

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll dough into a 12-inch circle; cut into 8 wedges.

2. Assemble Pockets

On each wedge, layer:

  1. 1 tbsp sauce
  2. 2 tbsp mozzarella
  3. Pepperoni
  4. Sprinkle of Parmesan & seasoning

3. Fold & Seal

Fold wide end over filling; roll toward point. Pinch edges to seal. Place on parchment-lined sheet.

4. Bake

Brush with egg wash. Bake 15-18 mins until golden. Serve warm with marinara.
