Ingredients (makes 12 bombs):

  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 12 squares milk chocolate (or ½ cup chocolate chips)
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup pancake mix (or all-purpose flour + ½ tsp baking powder)
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Optional Dipping Sauces:

  • Chocolate ganache
  • Caramel sauce
  • Strawberry jam

Instructions:

1. Prep the Filling

  1. Flatten each marshmallow slightly with your palm.
  2. Place 1 chocolate square in the center of each, then fold marshmallow around it, sealing tightly.

2. Make the Batter

Whisk together pancake mix, egg, and milk until smooth (should be slightly thicker than pancake batter).

3. Coat & Fry

  1. Roll each marshmallow ball in graham cracker crumbs, then dip in batter, coating completely.
  2. Fry in 375°F (190°C) oil for 1-2 minutes until golden brown, turning once.
  3. Drain on paper towels.

4. Serve

Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately with dipping sauces.

Tips:

🔥 No fryer? Use a deep skillet with 2 inches of oil.
🍫 Extra decadence: Stuff marshmallows with peanut butter cups instead.
Make ahead: Freeze assembled (unbattered) bombs for up to 1 month – batter just before frying.

Warning: Extremely addictive! 😍

Air fryer version: Spray battered bombs with oil and air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5-6 minutes.
