All the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger and fries in one irresistible, easy-to-make bake!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup (or cheddar cheese soup)
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (28 oz) bag frozen French fries (crinkle-cut or shoestring)
- ½ cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
- Burger toppings for serving: pickles, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce
Special Sauce (Optional):
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp relish
- 1 tsp vinegar
Instructions:
1. Brown the Beef
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook beef and onion until no pink remains. Drain fat.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper.
2. Make the Cheese Sauce
Mix soup, milk, and 1 cup cheese into the beef mixture until combined.
3. Layer & Bake
- Spread beef mixture in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with frozen fries in an even layer.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese and bacon bits.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until fries are crispy.
4. Serve
Drizzle with special sauce and top with fresh burger toppings if desired!
