10-Minute Quick Rasmalai

Instant soft rasmalai with store-bought shortcuts – perfect for sudden sweet cravings!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz) rasgulla in syrup (Gulab Jamun brand works too)
  • 2 cups full-fat evaporated milk (or 1 cup milk + 1 cup heavy cream)
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 10-12 saffron strands (soaked in 1 tbsp warm milk)
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios/almonds

Instructions:

1. Prep Rasgullas

Drain syrup from rasgullas. Gently press each between palms to remove excess syrup (don’t flatten completely).

2. Make Instant Rabri

In a pan, mix evaporated milk, condensed milk, cardamom, and saffron milk. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

3. Soak & Serve

Add rasgullas to warm milk mixture. Garnish with nuts. Serve warm or chilled!

Hacks:

Faster version: Use store-bought rabri instead of making milk mixture.
🌰 No nuts? Substitute with rose petals or edible silver leaf.
🍨 Creamier texture: Add 2 tbsp malai (milk cream) to the milk.

Pro tip: For authentic texture, use *homemade paneer patties – but this is your 10-minute lifesaver!* 😋
