Dill Pickle Cheese Ball

A tangy, creamy crowd-pleaser packed with zesty pickles and herbs – perfect for parties or game day snacking!

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup dill pickles, finely chopped (plus 2 tbsp pickle juice)
  • ¼ cup red onion, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup pecans or walnuts, finely chopped (for coating)
  • Crackers, pretzels, or veggie sticks for serving

Instructions:

1. Mix the Base

In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in cheddar, pickles, onion, dill, garlic powder, pepper, and pickle juice until fully combined.

2. Shape & Chill

Scoop mixture onto plastic wrap and form into a ball. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to firm up.

3. Add Coating

Before serving, roll the chilled cheese ball in chopped nuts to coat evenly.

4. Serve

Place on a platter with crackers, pretzels, or fresh veggies for dipping.
