Ingredients:
For the Bars:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp bourbon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
For the Bourbon Glaze (Optional):
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp bourbon
- 1 tsp milk
Instructions:
1. Prep & Mix Wet Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs, bourbon, and vanilla.
2. Add Dry Ingredients
Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
3. Bake
Spread dough evenly in pan. Bake 25-30 minutes until golden but slightly soft in center.
4. Glaze & Serve
Cool completely. For glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, bourbon, and milk; drizzle over bars.
