Chocolate Caramel Peanut Butter Pretzel Bars

Sweet, salty, and crunchy – the ultimate no-bake treat with layers of chocolate, gooey caramel, and peanut butter!

Ingredients:

Base Layer:

  • 2 cups pretzel sticks, crushed (about ½ cup when crushed)
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Caramel Layer:

  • 1 cup soft caramels, unwrapped (or ½ cup caramel sauce)
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream or milk

Topping:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (or butter)
  • Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions:

1. Make the Base

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix crushed pretzels, peanut butter, honey, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press firmly into the pan and freeze for 10 minutes.

2. Add Caramel Layer

  1. Microwave caramels and cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Pour over the pretzel base, spreading evenly.
  3. Freeze for 10 minutes to set.

3. Add Chocolate Topping

  1. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave (30-second intervals, stirring).
  2. Pour over the caramel layer, spreading smoothly.
  3. Sprinkle with sea salt and extra crushed pretzels (optional).

4. Chill & Slice

Refrigerate for 1 hour (or freeze 20 mins) until firm. Cut into squares and serve!
