Ingredients (for 4 pizzas):
- 4 slices thick crusty bread (like sourdough or ciabatta)
- ¼ cup garlic butter (or 2 tbsp melted butter + 2 minced garlic cloves)
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
- Toppings of choice:
- Pepperoni slices
- Sautéed mushrooms
- Fresh basil
- Red pepper flakes
Optional Drizzle:
- 1 tbsp hot honey (or olive oil + crushed garlic)
Instructions:
1. Toast the Bread
- Spread garlic butter on both sides of each bread slice.
- Toast in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
2. Add Toppings
- Spread pizza sauce on each slice.
- Top with cheese and other toppings.
3. Melt & Crisp
Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes (or microwave for 30 sec if you’re impatient!) until cheese bubbles.
4. Finish & Serve
Drizzle with hot honey or more garlic butter. Slice and devour!
