- 2 cans (8 ounces each) crescent roll dough
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, pinching the seams together to form a solid layer.
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough layer.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese filling, again pinching seams together.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top layer of dough.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar with ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the top of the buttered dough.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly. Let cool before slicing into squares.
