Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (8 ounces each) crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, pinching the seams together to form a solid layer.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese filling, again pinching seams together.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top layer of dough.
  6. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar with ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the top of the buttered dough.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly. Let cool before slicing into squares.
