Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- Holiday sprinkles, for garnish
Directions:
- Prepare the Dough
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips
- Gently fold in both the white chocolate chips and semisweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the dough.
- Form Cookies
- Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Decorate with holiday sprinkles if desired.
- Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
